Kiss Your Elbow Nail Polish Swatches & Review!

Hello All! :)  Happy Friday! What fall shows are you guys watching?
Anywho, today's post is a review from a new indie polish maker Cassidy, from Kiss Your Elbow Polish!
I have four polishes to show you today, Wallflower, Autumn Leaves, A Drop in the Ocean, & Broncos, Baby!

Kiss Your Elbow Polish Kiss Your Elbow Polish (2)
(L-R) Wallflower, Autumn Leaves, A Drop in the Ocean, & Broncos, Baby!
Kiss Your Elbow Polish (1)
(L-R) WallflowerAutumn LeavesA Drop in the Ocean, & Broncos, Baby!
Kiss Your Elbow Polish Wallflower (1)
Two coats of Wallflower over Illamasqua-Scorn.
The proceeds from Wallflower will go towards Autism Speaks.
Wallflower is a gorgeous glitter nail polish with a clear base and brimming with many different sizes of rose gold glitter and gold glitter. The name for this nail polish was inspired by the book and upcoming movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Wallflower spreads on easily, and looks kickass over black.
P.S. I love the book Perks of Being a Wallflower!
Kiss Your Elbow Polish Autumn Leaves (1)
Two coats of Autumn Leaves over Cult Nails-Evil Queen.
The profit from Autumn Leaves will go towards the Breast Cancer Walk Cassidy will be participating in at the end of October.
Autumn Leaves is an orange and cranberry mixed glitter polish created specifically for this upcoming fall and winter season, inspired by the gorgeous foliage of New England.

I love the combination of glitters and colors in this! (Fall is my favorite season!)
Like the others polishes, it really has a great formula. Spreads evenly without having to dab the glitter!
Kiss Your Elbow Polish A Drop In The Ocean (4)
One coat of A Drop in the Ocean over Cult Nails-Devious Nature.
The profit from A Drop in the Ocean will go towards the Breast Cancer Walk Cassidy will be participating in at the end of October.
A Drop in the Ocean is a lacquer full of blue, green, silver, and black glitters in different sizes to represent the depth of water.
I should have used two coats! Oh well! I love this combo so much!
I just wish I did another coat so I had more of the larger glitters in the photo >.<
This polish is pretty simple but utter perfection. <3 My favorite of the four!
Kiss Your Elbow Polish Broncos,Baby (2)
One (thick) coat of Broncos, Baby! over Cult Nails-Time Traveler.
The profit from Broncos, Baby! will go towards St, Jude's.

A glitter polish bursting with orange, blue, and gold glitter that is sure to please any Broncos fan, no matter the outcome of the game!

(Sorry about the blue tinged cuticles! TT always does it to me when I clean up my mani)
While I'm not a fan of football, I am a fan of this polish :)
I used a thicker coat of polish than I typically do, thinking two coats would be a bit too much since it's dense.
The glitter spreads really evenly, if you wanted more big hexes you may have to do some digging for them.

Overall I am happy with all of these, I think Cassidy is doing an awesome job making unique polishes.
Also she has great taste in music :) I really think she is a indie to keep an eye out for.
An amazing added bonus, 65% of the proceeds from all Cassidy's polishes are donated to various charities.
I mean what's better than helping people, AND getting pretty polish?

The only thing I'm not crazy about are the bows on the bottles. I love bows,
I just think that smaller bows would make it easier to apply the polish.
Maybe it's just me though, but I was a little worried about hitting the bow on my wet nails.

Kiss Your Elbow Nail Polish are 3-free and cost $8.50, shipping is open to US, Canada & Europe.
Make sure you go Favorite her Etsy Shop, follow her on Twitter, and Like her Facebook page :)

I hope you all are having a great day!

My Minnie Mouse Mani for Skylar's Birthday!

Hey guys, I've been meaning to post this for days and haven't seemed to have time to get around to it.
I decided to just post a cell phone picture I took today.
I really want to change up my nails and this is chipping and has some tip wear.
Sorry about the crappy quality! I did this mani for my daughter's third birthday on the 24th! <3

Here is a break down of what I used on each finger.
Pointer: Lush Lacquer-Chubby Checker (4 coats, DEF layering next time lol)
Middle: Butter London-The Black Knight (3 coats)
Ring: China Glaze-Dance Baby (3 coats), Illamasqua-Scorn, Milani-Fast Fushcia.
Pinky: Orly Flirty (2 coats), Windestine-Carbon Copy.

I did the Minnie outline with Scorn, just the polish brush. And I did the bow in white first with a nail art brush. Not the neatest mani but Skylar loved it :)

And here are a few pictures of my birthday girl!
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram, you have probably already seen these..sorry!
Birthday Breakfast
I made her a Minnie pancake :)

And here is her awesome birthday cake that Auntie Marilyn made her! :D

Thanks for looking! <3
Hope you guys are having a great week so far! If not I really hope that it gets better!

Naild'it Unique Polish-Coral Reef Swatches & Review.

Very, very long time no see. I know, I am a terrible blogger as of late.
I have been in a serious funk lately. I was feeling more depressed than usual, and just completely uninterested  in blogging and painting my nails. Glad to say that I am feeling a bit better!
But the last thing I want to do when I feel like that is force myself to blog and make it feel like a chore. I really hope you guys can understand! So anyway no to the reason you came here! Polish!

Today's post is a Review of Naild'it Unique Polish's Coral Reef!
I didn't think I would like this..But it has really grown on me. More on that in a minute!
Naild'it Coral Reef (4) Naild'it Coral Reef (7) Naild'it Coral Reef (8) Naild'it Coral Reef (9) Naild'it Coral Reef (6) Naild'it Coral Reef (5)
Last few photos were taken with flash, the ones above those were all with a daylight lamp!

"This polish has a coral (pinkish, reddish, orange) shimmer cream base and is loaded with a variety of glitters blues, purples, greens, and others in various shapes and sizes"

For these pictures I used two coats of Naild'it Coral Reef, over Opi-I Eat Mainly Lobster.
(Sorry about the tip wear/shrinkage I had this mani on for a few days before I took pictures.)

Coral Reef is so unique, to be honest I didn't think I would like this. >.<
I'm not crazy about coral, salmon, or
oranges in general.
But I wore this for a week and really grew to love it, It is just so interesting!
I really love the shimmer & the shards!
The formula on this polish was great, it really applied the glitter evenly and effortlessly.
I don't really mind dabbing on glitter if I must, but I love the ease of amazing formulas!

And after a week of wear I had no chips at all! Although I did have staining.
I'm pretty sure that was only due to the Opi, but I'm not 100% sure.
Just use
base coat though and you should be fine. I didn't because I wasn't expecting to wear it as long as I did. No real hard though most came off with a buffing block.

Make sure to take a look at the Naild'it Unique Polish Etsy Shop which is pretty stocked atm!
Make sure to follow Andrea's Facebook page to keep up with any updates, restocking and new polishes!

I hope you guys liked this polish, and I really hope you can forgive me for not posting!
Have a wonderful weekend!! <3 Sarah!

A Manicure Worthy Of A Time Lord. *Picture Heavy*

Hey guys! I am so SO excited to make this post!
And I am extremely excited for the new season of Doctor Who! :D
So here is my *attempt* at Doctor Who themed nail art for my fellow Whovians!
I love when I get to include things I love with my love of nail polish!

I am pretty bummed that all of our Doctor Who stuff is in storage though.
I would have had cooler pictures holding the Sonic Screwdriver, and my hubbies awesome stopwatch.
Or our Tardis cookie jar. /sigh
Random shout out and thanks to Thinkgeek for being awesome. We have spent too much money there :)
I know that these aren't perfect, but I tried extremely hard on them. I couldn't be happier with how they came out! I feel like I am finally getting better at free handing!

Thumb: The Doctor Who logo. As you can probably tell I couldn't fit the top bit, oops!
Pointer: Tardis in space :)
Middle: This nail was inspired by the 11th Doctor's wardrobe :)
Ring: I attempted (key word!) a Dalek.
Pinky: A Fez! Fezzes are cool 'nough said!

SO if you are ready,
                                                                       Come Along Pond.
